Cachoeiro de Itapemirim is a world leader when it comes to ornamental stone. For all this natural beauty in marble and granite to make its way into architectural and interior design projects, it is necessary to have state-of-the-art equipment for both extraction and processing. Today, much of this machinery is imported from countries in Europe and Asia and, for this, mining companies need to rely on the expertise of foreign trade companies.
Aware of this, Superia Trading Solutions, a company with 20 years of experience in international trade, which has units in Vitória (ES), Itajaí (SC), Porto Velho (RO), Orlando (USA), Hong Kong (China) and Shaoxing (China), will be present at Cachoeiro Stone Fair 2023, which takes place from August 22 to 25, at the Carlos Caiado Barbosa Exhibition Park, in the Aeroporto district.”As far as equipment is concerned, we have been helping mining companies to import new and used machines, diamond wires and resins (polymers), inputs that are widely used in the daily process of extracting blocks of natural stone from natural quarries and then transforming them into slabs that are exported abroad. Our commitment is to present the best cost and feasibility solutions and provide the most attractive logistical and financial scenario for foreign trade operations,” commented Guilherme Quintaes, Superia’s commercial director.
To this end, Superia works in various ways: on behalf of third parties, buying and selling to order, or through its own operations, offering the importer peace of mind in the operation, from reducing costs, through the import strategy and coordinating the entire process.
Did you know that Brazil is now the main supplier of sheet metal to the USA, surpassing China, Italy, India, Turkey, Spain, Greece and other strong international competitors? And Espírito Santo is responsible for 80% of this export.
Ornamental stone fair
During the Cachoeiro Stone Fair 2023, which will feature more than 200 exhibitors from 10 Brazilian states and four countries (Turkey, China, Spain and Italy) and is expected to attract 20,000 national and international visitors, Superia will set up a “green carpet” at the entrance to the event.
It will be a space next to the accreditation for the fair where people can stop by and record their experience at the Cachoeiro Stone Fair. “We want to strengthen ties with the Cachoeiro market. That’s why the focus of our action will be to provide people with a unique experience, where they can take a professional record of their time at the event. The message is: ‘Care about enjoying your experience at the event, and let us care’,” commented Quintaes.
The company’s aim is to provide the best solutions for its clients, thereby reducing operating costs and giving them a competitive edge. “We offer specialized consultancy, ICMS tax benefits, single-phase PIS/Cofins, tax and fiscal planning, and customs advice. We also partner with a differentiated price list in ports and general warehouses,” explained the commercial director.
Today, Brazilian stone is used to embellish luxurious buildings such as the Unicredit Tower in Milan, Abu Dhabi International Airport in Dubai, Istanbul Airport in Turkey and the luxurious Marina Bay Sands resort in Singapore, among others.
Understand the operations
Import on account and order – This is the modality in which a company provides the financial resources and hires Superia to carry out all the import procedures. Both companies are listed in the Internal Revenue Service’s records and the contractor must have the financial capacity to carry out the operation. In this modality, Superia acts actively in all stages of the import, leaving the contracting company to focus on its core business while relying on intelligent and economical solutions in logistics, foreign exchange, taxes, licenses, customs clearance and post-nationalization storage.
Import by order – In this modality, the company hires Superia to buy a product abroad and resell it exclusively to that institution after nationalizing the product by placing an import order. In this way, it is possible to work with tax reductions and obtain differentiated payment terms and nationalization in various ports in Brazil.
Foreign trade consultancy – Superia offers commercial, fiscal, administrative, financial, operational and logistical solutions from planning, feasibility analysis and negotiation with suppliers and clients to delivery of the goods to their final destination.
