RFB Normative No. 2.101/2022 now allows individuals to import goods via trading companies, in an order or account & order operation.
It should be noted that for indirect imports by individuals, the rules of article 4, paragraph 3, of RFB Normative Instruction No. 1,984/2020 must be complied with in terms of exemption from qualification and the purpose of the operation.
It also extends to their professional activities, including under the following conditions:
Rural producer, craftsman, artist or similar;
Their own use and consumption; and
Their personal collections.
The regulations come into force on October 3, 2022.
